The Lions Message in a Bottle is a simple idea that encourages people to keep their basic personal and medical details in a common place where they can easily be found in an emergency.
The information is kept in a bottle. The bottle is kept in the fridge where the emergency services will expect to find it in the event of being called to your home.
They will know you have a bottle by two labels. One is fixed to the inside of the front door, and the other to the door of your fridge.
And they are FREE!. All costs are covered by Dover Lions Club.

SPECTACLE RECYCLING
We have collection points in most opticians in Dover.
Once collected, spectacles are sent off for cleaning and grading, for eventual use in eye clinics in third world countries..
Around 6,600 pairs have been collected and forwarded by Dover Lions during the past 12 months
