PUBLICAN'S WALK- 50th ANNIVERSARY
SUNDAY 20th JULY 2025

Each year, Dover Lions host a sponsored walk, inviting local publicans and their supporters to raise money for the club’s charity causes. The distance of the walk covers three round trips along the seafront promenade.

Fancy dress is optional but certainly adds to the fun of the occasion. Trophies are awarded for the best group fancy dress
and the best individual fancy dress. Once all the proceeds have been counted, there is also a trophy for ‘Most Money Raised’

Since 1974, the walk has raised thousands of pounds for community needs, funding items such as a minibus for Age Concern, Holidays for the blind, and The Pilgrims Hospice. This year, proceeds will fund a free Christmas lunch for local senior citizens.

Individuals are also welcome to participate in the walk. If you would like to take part, please contact the club for further details and/or a sponsor form.  [email protected]

Fancy dress judging at 10am.

Walk begins at 10:30am.

Even if not walking why not come along and enjoy the spectacle, and help us, and the publicans and their supporters,
celebrate this amazing milestone event on Sunday 20th July 2025.
